RUN FOR THE OCEANS

#RunForTheOceans

Adidas X Parley organized an awareness project “Run For The Oceans” aiming to decrease the plastic waste in oceans and seas in Kınalıada. We as Tam Otomatik found creative solutions to spread this social responsibility project event globally. More than 350 runners ran in a one kil-ometer raceway in Kınalıada for seas and oceans to be cleaner. Every kilometer run by runners one month before the race and on the event day is accepted as 1 dollar donations via Runtastic app. The entire revenue of the donation campaign is transferred to the projects preventing the plastic waste to get to oceans and seas.

ADVERTISEMENT

We caught every second of the day with Lobby Film with a crew of 1 director, 3 camermen and a drone operator on the 4th of July Kınalıada “RunForTheOceans run. We made a 1 minute com-mercial film of motor transportation to the island, reception, publicity, workshops, pre-run, #RunForTheOceans run and the concert area after the run in 24 hours. The commercial took place in social media channels, digital platforms and sport-oriented television channels spon-sored and organically. Our commercial is published on the Adidas Runners Global instagram page after the event ended in the entire world.

DESIGN

We created all the printed materials of the “RunForTheOceans on 4th of July Kınalıada event, de-signed local communication materials and localized global materials of the international Run For The Oceans campaign. We designed printed posters in all sizes, booklets, invitations and all kinds of display materials along with the digital elements that get onto every screen.

Our photographer Taylan Çidam took photographes all along the 4th of July Kınalıada #Run-ForTheOceans event and the photographes he took was published in media and the campaign materials all over the world.

SOCIAL MEDIA and INFLUENCER MARKETING

We created 1 month long target oriented awareness and communication strategy in order to en-courage participation before the 4th of July Kınalıada #RunForTheOceans run. We made video and photo-shoots with both Adidas Runners Istanbul community captains, coaches and members and the influencers with a high social media influence integrated with the community. We deliv-ered the content to them and got high number of views, awareness and impression organically on Instagram and Facebook.

RESULT

13 of our brand ambassadors shared the content on social media. 53 social media guests shared the event content on social media. The total organic reach number came up to 100.000 with the posts our press and brand ambas-sadors shared. The number of total organic video views came up to 6.500 with the stories our press and brand ambassadors shared.
